We want to literally "wow" you every time you visit Vanessie for dinner, Club Vanessie for world class entertainment or the Inn at Vanessie for an overnight stay. You deserve prompt, professional, friendly and extraordinary service, and we're here to see you get nothing less. Our core values insure that all guests and staff are treated with respect, courtesy and dignity.

Our wonderful owner is a native Oklahoma Dentist and entrepreneur Dr. Ron Bulard. His vision is to combine the former Vanessie restaurant and club with the adjacent Water Street Inn - to create a magical destination for Luxury Lodging, Fine Dining, and Live Music Entertainment in one amazing facility.

The San Francisco street side of the building was an original Santa Fe house built in the early 1900's. In 1983, original owners Guy and Vicki LaLiberte, built a grand structure around the original house, modeled after the Northern California Spanish Missions. When Lou Sawaya took over in the late 1980's - his focus on the food helped the dining become one of the finest in town, and quite the happening place. Fran Mullin, ex CEO of Canada Dry was the third owner - and he created the Sunset Patio - a popular private party room. The Sunset Room is well known for the tremendous number of charity and fund raising events held there - as Vanessie is a major participant in local philanthropy.

Our Piano bar has capacity of 150+ to host cocktail receptions and parties. Our dining area can accommodate over 100 guests for a private party, wedding reception,rehearsal dinner, business dinner or other special event. Our 20 room (as of fall of 2011) lodge is a mix of contemporary and traditional Santa Fe style rooms, providing our guests with luxurious comfort with first class amenities.
